Parents and guardians are essential partners in the educational process at Prep. Whether planning, supporting, and hosting community events, guest speaking in the classroom or at forums, or volunteering with our arts and athletics programs, parents and guardians play a vital role in supporting the school and helping us fulfill our mission.
Parents' Association
All Prep parents and guardians are a vital part of our school community, and are automatically part of the Parents' Association. The primary aim of the PA is to help strengthen the school through community building, financial support, and volunteerism.
One of the most meaningful parts of the PA's work is supporting access and opportunity for students through fundraising efforts that directly benefit Tuition Assistance and Breakthrough Santa Fe. Thanks to the generosity of our families, Prep parents and the PA raised over $65,000 to support these community efforts in the 2025-2026 school year!
By sharing our time, talents, and ideas, we build stronger relationships, create memorable experiences, and make a greater impact — because when we work together, everyone benefits. There will be many opportunities throughout the school year to get involved; look for more information coming soon about this year's PA committees. | Parent Open House |
A beloved tradition, parents and guardians gather on a Saturday morning in the Upper School quad for coffee and a welcome from the Head of School before experiencing a “day in the life” of their student, enjoying mini-classes from each of their child’s teachers. |
| Rummage Sale |
Held in the gym, the annual Rummage Sale welcomes the broader Santa Fe community to Prep and raises money for tuition assistance and Breakthrough Santa Fe. The sale features clothing, furniture, books, toys, sporting equipment, and much more. |
| Bingo Night |
| This new family-friendly tradition is a fundraiser featuring bingo, a silent auction, good food, Prep spirit, and great company. |
| Faculty & Staff Appreciation |
| An opportunity for parents and guardians to come together to show heartfelt thanks for Prep's faculty and staff through personalized notes, monetary donations, and a celebratory mixer. |
