Launched in 2011 with a grant from the Edward E. Ford Foundation, Santa Fe Prep’s EE Ford Summer Teachers’ Colloquium offers a distinctive professional learning experience designed by teachers, for teachers. 

Each July, educators from independent schools around the country come to Prep for week-long, seminar-style courses led by Prep faculty. The focus of these courses is not on pedagogy, but on inspiring teachers through their own learning and curiosity. By exploring a subject in depth and building meaningful connections with other educators, participants return to their students in the fall inspired and energized. Thanks to grant funding, registration costs are reduced for all and free for Santa Fe Public School teachers.
